Working to ensure to the success of these ministries that operate in remote, uncivilized locations is the mission of Mountain Cross Outfitters, Inc. Winter Trip

    Many years of preparation are often spent by those entering the missions field in
obtaining the necessary training in Theology and Ideology, education in their respective specialized field of endeavor, as well as generating funds for their operating budget. However, likely the most troubling aspect of all upon arriving at their ministry location is the realization of the lack of opportunities to have prepared themselves for living and teaching under such trying conditions.

   Mountain Cross Outfitters, Inc. is a non-profit organization located in Colorado Springs, Colorado that is dedicated to filling this void by providing the related skills training and environmental exposure to better equip missionaries destined for the more primitive areas of the world. This prepares the missionary, once at their ministry site, to concentrate on fulfilling the needs of their personal ministry - not being overwhelmed with learning how to live and survive in their new environment. Essentially, our goal is to equip these missionaries with the skills and exposure that will provide them an advanced start upon reaching their station, while also increasing their personal safety, increasing their personal confidence, and establishing for them operational parameters and guidelines for their remote location.

   Even more, considering that the vast majority of Christians entering the field of missionary service are tasked with the generation of their own operating budget - an endeavor in itself often encompassing a number of years in many cases - we provide these training courses to qualified applicants absolutely free of charge.
